Wedding days are an absolute blur, and even though it’s a sorted cliche, it’s true! Your day will go by faster than you could ever imagine – and, in the blink of an eye, you’ll be in your dress walking down the aisle to meet the person you’ll spend the rest of your life loving. When you think about it, photography is taking those whirlwind days and memorializing them into little frozen moments in time that you can look back on forever, fondly recalling all the incredible moments you shared with your friends and family.
For me, Diana + Tony’s rainy wedding day was one of those days that floated by like a dream. The morning of, the sky cracked open and it absolutely poured. But, by the time I arrived at Diana’s parents house in Wading River, the weather had cleared up and the light filtered through with the most vibrant golden tones! It was truly incredible photographing her dress + details in front of the huge bay window in the sitting room of her house, and next to my friends at Bilski Productions, I captured some seriously beautiful shots.
Even though the day started out a little rainy, we were able to capitalize on the gray skies at The Vineyards at Aquebogue and Diana + Tony twirled between the gorgeous bursts of florals that cover the property and the rows of grapes in the vineyard. I loved getting to see the way the two of them interacted with each other, because they had so much fun just being together! This is definitely what love is all about – being true to yourselves and making the most gorgeous memories as you walk into forever together.
Congratulations, Diana + Tony! I loved getting to be there with you, and I can’t wait to see all the beautiful moments you guys share!
