Frequently Asked Questions

What happens when I contact you?
Great question! When you contact me, we will go over the dates I have available, and if I’m free to photograph your wedding (which I hope I am!), we’ll set up a meeting! I usually meet with couples Monday through Thursday at a location that’s convenient for you. Then, I’ll send you my  custom wedding guide that covers anything we don’t discuss at our first meeting, and then some!

What will we discuss at our initial meeting?
We’ll talk about all the logistics of your special day, including where you’re getting married, what vendors you’ve chosen (plus I’ll give you my list of preferred vendors!), and what goes on the day of. I’ll explain to you how I operate and what to expect from me, so you won’t have to worry about what’s happening that day!

Why do you only shoot one wedding per weekend?
I only shoot one wedding per weekend because I want to give my couples 100%, every time! Cultivating relationships with my couples is SO important to me, so I make sure I’m constantly available to answer any questions or ease any concerns you may have about one of the biggest days of your life.

Do you travel for weddings?
YES! I love traveling! I’m open to pretty much any location, so shoot me a message and let me know where you’re planning to get married, and I’ll see if I’m available!

Why do you use a second shooter?
Second shooters are SO important, because it gives me the ability to be in two places at once! My second shooters are veterans in the wedding industry and always operate at full force. I always recommend a second shooter, especially if you have more then 75 people at your wedding!

What happens after I book with you?
After you book with me,  I’ll send you my contract, which locks in your date, and then I’ll send my signature welcome package, with hand drawn lettering and a bunch of chic goodies, right to your doorstep! Then we’ll anxiously wait for your wedding day! Please don’t hesitate to email me with any questions or concerns you may have!

What should I expect in the weeks leading up to my wedding?
Two weeks before your wedding date, I’ll send you a finals email that goes over everything you need to know before the big day. This is a good time for us to compile any shot lists or give me an idea of any must-have photos you want to make sure I capture on your wedding day! Make sure to think this over!

What should I expect after my wedding?
Even though your wedding is over, the fun has just begun! I’ll send you some teasers of your day within a day or two, so you can get a little preview of the magic we made together! Within 6 weeks, I will upload your images (600-1000) to Pixieset and send you a link to a downloadable gallery, password protected. Then, expect some mail! Your images will be loaded onto a wooden thumb drive and sent to you via USPS.

What else do you shoot besides weddings?
Engagementslifestyle sessions, and maternity sessions are some of my favorite things! As of right now, I don’t do newborn sessions- but i’m always happy to recommend some of my favorite photographers to handle your new babe!

I can’t wait to hear from you!
