Kristin + Alex | Hoboken, New Jersey

I don’t often venture outside of New York for engagement shoots – there are so many amazing places to shoot on Long Island! But Kristin + Alex are getting married at Giorgio’s in Baiting Hollow and wanted to have an engagement shoot in their Hoboken, New Jersey neighborhood. Plus, New York City was such an important part of their engagement, so I was happy to capture it in the background!
I was excited to get some great shots of the Hudson River and the New York City skyline – plus to get to know this awesome couple.  I loved getting to see their cute neighborhood and explore a new city.

Kristin + Alex have a great love story and Alex really went all out for the proposal!

He had the Beekman Hotel set up champagne and roses on an outdoor terrace overlooking lower Manhattan, and feigned a hotel tour for he and Kristin. When Kristin got to the terrace and turned around, Alex was on one knee.

I loved getting to get to know Kristin + Alex during their engagement shoot, and I can’t wait to shoot their wedding next spring!
