Loredana + Dylan | New Rochelle, NY

What do you get when you mix one professional photographer, a stunning bride, the sprawling white marble floors of the Greentree Country Club, and a chilly – but beautiful – March day? The dreamy wedding of Loredana + Dylan, of course! I’m so excited to show you each and every intimate detail of this couple’s super romantic affair, and tell you the adorable story of how they met + fell in love. Break out the tissues, because this is a love story you’re not going to want to miss!

I first met Dylan in high school, and I was so honored when he extended the invite for me to be there to capture his super secret surprise proposal to Loredana at Pellegrini Vineyards last July! With a bouquet of beautiful flowers, and my camera in tow, I hid amongst the vines, waiting for the moment he popped the question. They were so sweet together along the sunny rows, and it was so amazing to watch them profess their love from a distance! It truly was an incredibly emotional moment, one I will forever be thankful I was able to witness!

Loredana + Dylan first met through mutual friends on on March 7th, 2014. How cute is it that they got married a few short years later, almost to the day!? Their love was explosive from the start, as evident by the way they look at each other! Dylan’s friends were never able to pronounce Loredana’s name correctly, so they came to call her Lorna Doone (like the tasty cookie)! At the time, Dylan was in a band and working on a sweet song for his love. Since Dylan would visit Loredana in New Rochelle – where she lived – every single Friday, the band called the song Shortbread Friday’s. How insanely adorable is that?!

Loredana + Dylan’s wedding was straight out of a fairytale. From the stunning bay windows overlooking the waterfront to Loredana’s chic gown (it had pockets!!), every detail, down to the Lorna Doone cookie favors(!!!) and homemade limoncello (a nod to Loredana’s Italian heritage), was personal, poetic, and beautiful. Loredana + Dylan’s intimate first look at the Bartow-Pell Mansion was filled with old-world charm, and the bits of snow coating on the lawn truly made it a romantic (and wintery) experience! Even though it was cold out and my fingers were frozen, I couldn’t stop smiling from behind my camera. Seriously, it’s days like this one that solidify my passion for wedding photography!

One of the best parts of the day was seeing Dylan photograph his bride with his friend’s camera – the perks of documenting a professional’s wedding day! It was so sweet to see how much he loved her, and it was a true testament to the connection they have to see him snapping away.

As Loredana + Dylan slow danced under the stunning crystal chandelier, all of their family and friends gathered to watch the beginning of their future together, and I couldn’t have loved it any more. Dylan’s old band even played Shortbread Friday’s for everyone during the cake cutting, which was the perfect cherry on top of an insanely adorable day.

I loved being part of this beautiful couple’s wedding and I am so excited to show you all the pretty captures from their day! Congratulations, Loredana + Dylan! I am so excited to see how your love grows!
