Some of my most treasured moments in my life as a wedding photographer is coming along as a third wheel for your engagement session. It’s always so exciting for me to meet new people and learn all about the ways they met, fell in love, and eventually decided to take the next big step – getting married! It’s incredible the things I can learn during your hour and a half e-session; from first date stories to future plans, I feel like I know you so well by the end of it!
Kontokosta Winery in Greenport is one of the North Fork’s hidden gems. From the beautiful rows of lush vines that cascade down the wooden posts, to the bluffs that overlook the water, I couldn’t have been more thrilled to have a chance to capture Tina + Mike’s session there. The day couldn’t have been more perfect, with some overcast + moody skies and a slight breeze that brought that cozy feeling you get when summer comes to an end. I always love those wild moments – the ones I could never stage, but add the most dynamic + natural elements to your photos!
One of my favorite things about this session was how comfortable and at ease Tina + Mike were. It was like I wasn’t even there, as the two of them drifted away into their own world. I’m obsessed with how perfectly they fit together, and I couldn’t help but take a million photos as they laughed and giggled with each other (every single one of those smiles is candid!!!).
I’m so excited to share these beautiful images from Tina + Mike’s incredible session, and I think you’ll love them just as much as I do! Congratulations, you two! I’m so happy I was able to be there to capture such precious moments!
