Engagement sessions are always one of the most magical, and laid back, times in your wedding planning journey. Those simple, perfect seconds you spend together in front of my lens really helps me to capture the essence of who you guys are together, and I always love getting to hear your stories! It’s incredible to learn all about how you met, how you fell in love, and what your future plans might have in store for you, and having the ability to connect with you gives me a more complete picture of your relationship. Being included in these super beautiful memories is something I’ve always loved so much about wedding photography!

Alexis + Steve’s engagement session at Avalon Park in Stonybrook was filled with the stunning moments I’m always chasing, and the way the golden light illuminated the love they share was so perfect. Their super laid back engagement session couldn’t have been more relaxed, and these two even opted to wear matching white Van’s, which I absolutely loved! Finding a laid back moment to really connect with each other, reset, and take a breather from the craziness of planning a wedding can make all the difference, and what better way to remember how beautiful these times were than with some gorgeous photographs of the two of you in love?
