your questions

Do you only shoot East End weddings?

While many of my clients get married on the North Fork and the Hamptons, I’ve shot weddings everywhere from Dominican Republic to more road-trip-distance states like Maine, Vermont and Connecticut. I especially love Hudson Valley and Catskills weddings! Moving forward for 2022, I will only be taking on Eastern Suffolk County based weddings for my Long Island bookings. This allows me to better fit my style and chase after what inspires me the most.

Will you travel to my destination wedding?

Getting to shoot destination weddings is seriously one of the best parts of my job. If you’re having a wedding outside of the East End or Hudson Valley region, get in touch with me to discuss details and see if I’m available for your date. I can’t wait to hear more about it!

Are YOU gonna be the one actually shooting my wedding?

Yes, I shoot every single wedding that I book. I bring along a trusted second shooter to get even more shots and to take photos of the groomsmen getting ready, but I’m always going to be the main photographer at your wedding!

How do I hold my date with you?

Once you decide you want to work together, I’ll need a signed contract and a deposit to hold your date. Dates of course are first come first serve, as well as I only generally do 1-2 weddings a weekend max! I do all of my contracts/deposits electronically, which makes it super easy for my couples.

I have no clue where I want to have an engagement shoot. Can you help?!

Yes! I have a location lookbook that I LOVE to share with all my couples! Once you book with me, we can chat about the vibe you want for your engagement shoot and I can guide you to a spot that’ll fit your vision.

Do you shoot anything else besides weddings and engagements?

Due to the craziness of 2020- I have opened up limited availability to take on some lifestyle sessions for the remainder of this year. I've missed getting a chance to photograph families!

But in general on a *regular* wedding season year:

As much as I love a good lifestyle session, right now I’m just focusing on weddings and engagements. You’ll see some lifestyle photos sneak into the mix, generally because a former wedding client asked me to shoot a major milestone after their wedding and I couldn’t help but say yes! That being said, I only have space in my schedule for a few lifestyle shoots each year and I limit them to my past wedding clients only.

Can you do a newborn shoot for me?

While I’d love to see your adorable new baby, newborn photography is a skill best left to newborn photographers. There are tons of talented newborn/Fresh 48 photographers on Long Island, I recommend reaching out to one of them instead!

Darn! I already booked my wedding photographer, but I want you do to our engagement shoot. Is this something you do?

Right now, my schedule only allows me to do engagement shoots for clients who have booked me for their wedding day.

Do you do videography, too?

While I specialize in photography only, I would DEFINITELY recommend hiring a videographer for your day! Having a wedding video is just as special as having your wedding photos. Photo and video work in tandem - we’ll be getting the same shots in different mediums and will be working side by side all day, so it’s important for your photographer and videographer’s styles to be similar so we can both deliver you the BEST work we can! If you’re looking for a great wedding videographer who has a similar style to mine, I always recommend my friends at Bilski Productions .
