A garden wedding and a gorgeous love story? Two of my favorite things!
If there’s anything I love more in this world than photography, it’s hearing about the way you two met. Whether it was a fated love, one that you always knew would come, or one that happened suddenly in the most unexpected of places, every love story is so unique. Learning about the ins and outs of your relationship is one of the best ways for us to get to know each other – plus, all the inspiring tales you spin about falling head over heels is one of the dreamiest things ever to me. It gives your portraits so much purpose, and brings a personal air to every image. I love, love, love it!
Apple + Louie contacted me a few months before their shoot, and as soon as I heard why they were looking to book a garden wedding portrait session, I just knew I would love every second of it! These two met after connecting in Hong Kong at a dance class, and as the months went on, their love began to flourish in the most unexpected of ways.
After a few months, Louie moved to New York with his family, but the distance didn’t stop them from being together. Countless hours of visiting each other between China + New York led Apple + Louie to tie the knot in the ultimate expression of love at New York City Hall in December of 2016! Fast forward a few months later, and the three of us slowed down to capture a dreamy garden wedding session at Planting Fields Arboretum that embodied all the stunning love that surrounds these two.
Congratulations, Apple + Louie! This garden wedding session was one of the most perfect ones I’ve ever done, and I am so honored that you brought me into your love story. It’s perfect!
