Destination weddings are such a little gem during wedding season. Not only do I get to be there for your beautiful day, no matter what the destination, but I get to experience new places, too! It’s so inspiring to see the different landscape, architecture, and atmosphere that a destination wedding awards me, and I love challenging myself to see what kind of extra special wedding magic I can capture throughout the time I’m third wheeling with you!
Vermont is one of the most gorgeous states, and every time I visit such an amazing place, I marvel at how beautiful the trees look, how perfect the hills roll across the horizon, and how vast and endless the sky seems. It’s truly a magical place, and certainly one of the most breathtaking spots to tie the knot, so when Ashlie + Adam reached out and asked me to document their destination wedding at Jay’s Peak in North Troy, Vermont, there was no way I wasn’t saying yes!
I absolutely fell in love with how head over heels Ashlie + Adam were (do you see those genuinely ecstatic smiles!?), and with such a perfect destination as their backdrop, we made some serious wedding magic! The leaves were just starting to turn the most vibrant fall colors, and the skies couldn’t have been more clear. It was absolutely one of the most perfect weather days of my 2017 season, and I was so thrilled we were able to walk around the grounds and capture the beautiful sunlight streaming through the thick trees.
Ashlie + Adam, thank you so much for inviting me to a destination of a lifetime! I am so happy I was able to be there to document such a special day. Congratulations, you two! I can’t wait to see what your next destination will be together as husband and wife.
