To me, establishing long term connections with the couples I photograph is such an important part of my job. Getting to see your journey from start to finish is such a treasure, and I am always so excited when I get to be part of big announcements after you two tie the knot! Whether it’s a new house, a new dog, or a brand new baby (!!), it is always a distinct honor to be the one to capture those special memories in any season – an honor I hold so near and dear to my heart.

Autumn maternity sessions are always so, so perfect. Since autumn is the renewal season, it is so symbolic to the adventure you’re about to embark on – a renewal of your soul and the introduction of a brand new life in the world! It’s such a beautiful thing to document such an incredible time in your life, and I am always so happy to be part of such a moving moment.

Natalie + Joe’s autumn maternity session was particularly heartfelt because I’ve had the pleasure of photographing both their engagement and their wedding – and now, I got to introduce their newest addition to the world! The stars aligned on this shoot, because as autumn faded into winter, the vibrant colors of the leaves held on just a little bit longer, creating the most golden landscape amongst the forest of Cedarmere in Roslyn. It was truly a breathtaking backdrop (with an absolutely amazing cotton candy sunset) for an absolutely gorgeous couple!

Congratulations, Natalie + Joe! I can’t wait to see baby Aguila, and I am so honored you chose me to share in the incredible love you two have for each other and your newest family member. Here’s to so many amazing adventures as a family of three!
