Brooke + Vinny just bought their first home and completely renovated it – so naturally, they wanted their engagement pics there! I was so excited when I walked in and saw their GORGEOUS new kitchen and all the natural light!

We ended the day by heading down the road to Peconic Herb Farm for some greenery + golden hour shots. Brooke + Vinny are seriously the cutest couple, and I can’t wait for their Bourne Mansion wedding next February!

ENGAGEMENT SHOOT TIP: I love the personal vibe of in-home shoots, and couples usually feel more comfortable and natural in their own homes. Brooke + Vinny had the perfect space for an in-home shoot: lots of white, reflective surfaces and tons of natural light. We ended up going to the Peconic Herb Farm for their outdoor shots, but you could just as easily use your back or front yard for greenery shots at an in-home shoot.
