One of my favorite things about being a wedding photographer is hearing the story of how you two met. Whether you found each other completely at random, or have know one another your entire life – every couples story, every whimsical path you find in love, is entirely unique, giving me this incredible perspective into who you are together. Knowing that love finds you in such a powerful way gives me the inspiration I need to create the most stunning art I possibly can.
When it comes down to it, there’s nothing more perfect in this life than finding the one you’re truly meant to be with. When you know, it truly alters everything – suddenly catapulting you into a universe where only you two exist. For Dana + Cody, a seemingly normal job opportunity at Westhampton Beach High School – where Dana came in as a leave replacement – turned into the start of something more beautiful than they could have ever imagined. But that’s how fate works, doesn’t it? At the moment you least expect it, your world turns upside down and your life flows on into the next chapter.
Dana + Cody’s Peconic Bay Yacht Club affair looks like it could have been ripped from the pages of the chicest wedding magazine, with the moody sky and decor designed by the bride. The subtle touches of greenery, the fresh lavender bouquets, and the simplistically gorgeous gown from Daughters of Simone all aided in creating the most whimsical day ever. And their sweet little girl, Falyn? She couldn’t have been cuter, and I couldn’t resist snapping a few shots of her surrounded by fresh greenery!
Dana + Cody – congratulations to you both on finding the most gorgeous love ever. I am so honored that I was able to be there to photograph this incredible moment in time, and I wish you both so much happiness as your family grows!
