Hilary + Tariq | Raphael Vineyards - Kaitlyn Ferris Wedding Photography

Hilary + Tariq’s Raphael Vineyards wedding was unreal – seriously, one of my most favorite weddings ever. They have such a unique and singular vision and style – check out their Wes Anderson-themed engagement shoot – and I just knew their wedding day would be perfection.

I love shooting at Raphael Vineyards because the golden hour light beaming through the windows is incredible. The grounds consist of these light-drenched, picturesque vineyards and the inside is cool, moody, and totally unique.

Hilary + Tariq had SO many fun details, starting with Hilary’s TWO gorgeous wedding outfits, all the way to the stunning floral ring they used for an altar.

I wanted to give a shoutout to where Hilary got ready – the newly-opened Preston Hotel in Riverhead was SO great to shoot getting-ready photos in.

Hilary + Tariq chose to do a first look, which I love doing. It gives couples so much more time to take interesting portraits, since we’re not pressed for time between the cocktail hour and reception.

The aforementioned floral arch/ring was INSANE. Like, one of the coolest altar pieces I’ve ever seen. I actually loved all the florals they used – they really made an impact with big, bold, bright flowers on the tables and as accents around the room.
