There’s nothing more romantic than an outdoor engagement session on the North Fork, because the bounties it has to offer in terms of natural beauty is absolutely unmatchable! Romantic September engagements are so perfect, with the golden light spilling over the trees and pumpkins starting to make their appearance at the farm stands. I absolutely love where I live, and I especially adore all the couples who decided to have their super romantic sessions here – it’s amazing!

One amazing thing about dreamy outdoor sessions is that the scenery always changes, and the way you two love each other ebbs and flows along with it. I know it can be difficult to relax when someone is third wheeling behind you with a camera, but once we start laughing and getting comfortable with each other, that candid, romantic feel starts to really blossom! It is seriously such a gift to be there with you on your journey, and I love that you bring me along for the ride!

Janine + Greg were such a joy to photograph, and I loved that they wanted to travel around the North Fork to find some little gems for their session! At Bayview Farm Market, we found the most vibrant pumpkins stacked on wooden shelves and a sunflower field bursting with blooms, and we stopped to snap a few (incredible!) photos. I loved how beautiful everything was around them, but that Janine + Greg couldn’t stop smiling at each other! The way they fell in love over and over in front of my lens was such a stunning thing to be able to witness, and the images that come from it are absolutely breathtaking. Janine + Greg, you guys are perfect!

Of course, we had to stop at the iconic Treiber Farms American Flag truck on Sound Avenue, and the beauty that ensued there was incredible!! It’s an amazing artists haven, and the details along the truck and on the outside of the barn is so beautiful. I love getting to shoot at new places, and this spot was definitely one for the books!
