Jenna + Glenn started dating right at the start of freshman year at Lehigh University and have been together ever since.
I love their proposal story: when Jenna was away on a work trip, Glenn was feverishly planning a proposal. He went with Jenna’s parents to get the ring and was making big plans for the big question – until he saw her at the airport. He couldn’t keep it a secret any longer! He ended up proposing on the cab ride home. How cute is that?
We shot their engagement photos at Jenna’s grandma’s gorgeous Brookville home. The grounds were immaculate and the light was perfect – and I loved that it was such a personal connection.
Engagement Shoot Tip: Shooting at home is a great way to save money on site fees and to have a very sweet and personal engagement setting. However, you want to make sure your yard is in excellent shape, which can be a big headache if you’re on a time crunch. If you don’t want to spend your weekends painting your fence, picking weeds, and raking leaves (or paying a gardener to do it) to get ready for the shoot, think about doing it at the beach or a park.
