How excited are you that nice weather is finally headed our way!? For me, it means more outdoor engagement sessions, more soft, summer light, and more chances for me to work with my natural surroundings! My favorite things of all time, of course!

Katie + Johnny found me through Barattini Productions, one of my favorite DJ companies to work with, ever! These two were such a dream together, and even though we had to reschedule their session once because of the unpredictable weather of 2017, we hit the jackpot and finally got a day with super clear skies!

I seriously loved these two and their zest for life! I can’t say enough about how sweet and focused they were together, despite the zillions of bugs that seemed to follow us everywhere! As soon as we started shooting, I could instantly tell that the love shared between them was the kind you only hear about in movies. They were so playful with each other, which made for some absolutely adorable portraits. I love when my couples can let loose and have fun with their significant other, and that’s exactly what engagement photos are for! They are much less formal and more laid back, which is why I will always, always recommend that you two document this time in your life. You’ll wind up with some photos that really capture your spirit and how head-over-heels you guys are in the early days of your forever together!

Did I mention how silly-in-love Katie + Johnny were? Because every second of this session, they were giggling, joking, and having the best time together. And it’s easy to see why – their entire relationship has been based on staying true to who they are, both separately and together! It makes my heart so happy to know that there really are some beautiful people in this world that want nothing more than to bring smiles to people’s faces – and Katie + Johnny definitely brought a smile to mine!

This session was seriously one of my all-time favorites, so I’m super excited to show you their gorgeous day at Frank Melville Memorial Park! Katie + Jonny, I’m wishing you the most blissful engagement and an even more incredible marriage!
