Salt Air Farm in Cutchogue is my FAVORITE location to shoot.  Rachel + Patrick got the best golden hour light for their late summer engagement shoot, and I’m obsessed with how these photos came out. Rachel + Patrick met in high school and have been together for seven years. Patrick wins the award for best proposal ever: in Paris. Next to the Eiffel Tower. On the first day of their two-week European adventure. I can’t wait for their gorgeous wedding day!

ENGAGEMENT SHOOT TIP:  Props at an engagement shoot can be awesome or can end up looking kind of cheesy. Rachel + Patrick nailed it with their picnic basket and lace blanket – just enough to add dimension to the photos, and the blue lining of the basket made their outfits pop. It works because it looks like something they’d actually bring with them on a cute date, and it’s not too big or distracting.
