Bayview Farm Market in Aquebogue has always been a favorite haunt of mine, with their stunning sunflower field, a locally grown rainbow of farm fresh veggies, and the most perfect small town feel to their stand. I love wandering around the farm with my camera and stopping to take in the beauty of it all, which is one of the perks of being a Long Island wedding photographer. I get to experience so much beauty in so many different ways.
When Sarah + Tim approached me to take their engagement photos (and photograph their wedding a few weeks later!), I was so excited that they let me help them choose the location! Bayview Farm Market seemed like the perfect choice for them, since they love the farm vibes the North Fork has to offer. I had been to Bayview Farm Market during the fall season with one of my couples, Tia + Mike, and absolutely adored how light filled and versatile it was. I was thrilled to be able to shoot there again, this time with the hazy glow of summer filtering through the farm!
Sarah + Tim were total naturals in front of the camera, and it was so incredible to witness them laughing and smiling together. I could instantly tell that these two were soulmates – it would be hard to miss how much they cared for each other! I loved that Sarah chose to accent her lily white dress with a bold lip and cherry nails – it kept the focus on them as a couple while still incorporating her signature style. Engagement photos are definitely the perfect time to focus on your authentic self, and allows for a more relaxed environment that truly lets me showcase who you two are together. It’s such a wonderful memory to have!
Sarah + Tim, thank you so much for welcoming me (and my camera) into your lives together! I am so happy that I was able to be there to document such a special time in your life, and I can’t wait to get your wedding day up on the blog, too!
