I had so much fun shooting Ally + Rich on the most beautiful day in Southampton.

Southampton is the cutest town and the whole session felt like something straight out of a movie. Main Street is full of charming coffee spots, delicious al fresco restaurants, and chic shops. The residential streets are lined with tall boxwoods and privets, with a canopy of manicured trees that filter the golden hour light.

After we got some great shots on the streets of Southampton, we moved to a local beach – and damn. Ally’s outfit choice could not have been better: her tomato red dress against the bright citron green of the marsh was nothing short of cinematic.

Engagement Shoot Tip: I love when clients have a unique location in mind for their engagement shoot — especially one that’s meaningful to their relationship. Ally + Rich had the idea to shoot in Southampton,  and I was thrilled to be along for the ride.  If you have a special spot in mind, definitely let your photographer know –  most of us are pumped to shoot somewhere new!  Make sure you check for any necessary site fees or permits – a lot of locations require them (more on that in an upcoming post).
