This was one of the most inspiring, amazing maternity sessions I’ve ever done, and I’m totally in love with these photos!

I know mama-to-be Haley through work – she’s a super talented makeup artist who always makes brides look stunning. And seriously – she could be a model herself! She and her husband Elijah were so perfect to shoot – they were both on the same page about the vibe of the shoot, and kept each other laughing the whole day.

One of the most amazing parts of this shoot were the photos we took at the end. Haley’s baby shower was the day before, and they surprised her with a henna artist! The photos we got of the henna art – totally gorgeous and unlike anything I’ve ever shot before.

I love doing maternity shoots in the client’s home – in this case, at Haley’s mom’s home in Head of the Harbor. The light was so dreamy, and we found so many great locations to shoot in. I especially love the shots of their dog touching Haley’s bump with his paw- obsessed!

I was so thrilled to work with this amazing couple, and honored that they trusted me with such a special moment in their lives. I can’t wait to meet their little baby bean when he or she arrives soon!
